Apprentice home in process of planning
In summer 2023 we plan to complete an apprentice home for our trainees. For this purpose the old house on an adjacent land will be demolished and a new building will be constructed. Thus we enable young people to start an apprenticeship at our house even if they live well away.
June 2022 – Setting up a development department
By expanding by a development department we provide the whole spectrum of hard- and software development as from now: from the idea through to the finished product, where we contribute our experience in terms of acquisition and manufacturability.
March 2021 Additional investment in machinery
AOI VarioLine 3D from Goepel Electronic:
With this new AOI it is possible for us to look over our customers assemblies much faster and more reliable through 2D- and 3D inspection. By means of four high resolution cameras an inspection by 360 1° steps is possible. Thus you even can examine hidden joints underneath of devices like SMD-connectors automatically.
Fully automated THT workplaces form Kurtz Ersa:
For our Ersa Power Flow N2 we will get 3 fully automated monting stations including sorting racks, height adjustable tables and automatic feeding of mounting devices. Thus we are able to work much more efficiently.
Second coating line Protecto XP from Rehm :
In addition to that we are going to receive a second coating line from Rehm which will enable, together with the exsisting line, lacquering of top and bottom side in one go! As a result we can increase our capacities in this sector once again.
Jan 2020 – New warehouse completed!
We have multiplied our storage capacites by a factor of five with our new warehouse and are now able to extend our production capacities. In addition to that the new depot offers space for up to 1500 europallets. Find below some impressions of our new production area just after completion of the warehouse. Located next to the river Elbe and the Kiel Canal we are now capable of providing a higher added value for our customers!
April 2019 - Construction continues!
After our new production hall, the new logistics centre and the new office building have been completed 2 years ago, the construction work is now continuing in full swing.
This year, the ESCD premises will be extended by a new warehouse to create space for further production capacities and to enable further expansion. Below you can see the construction site in a time lapse of one year, the picture at the bottom right shows the current status of the construction project.
